I come from a long line of storytellers, yarn-spinners, and bullshitters. With the publication of my novel, Small Town Odds, I began my storytelling career in earnest. Since adapting the novel into a screenplay, my scripts have made the Quarterfinals of the Nicholl Fellowship, the second round of consideration for the Sundance Screenwriters Lab, and the quarter- and semifinals of other national competitions

After learning to direct on the dime of "The Man" by helming loads of commercials, I began writing and directing short films. Some of those have been chosen as a Finalist for the Comedy Central/NYTVF competition, an official selection of the Mill Valley Film Festival, the Best of Shorts program at the Carmel Arts & Film Festival, and a People's Choice award-winner at the Taos Shorts Film Festival.

Currently, I'm gathering resources to shoot my first feature film.
